There's as much PWin going on here as there is voting. It would be nice if the AT/MT ratio was as close in real life as this poll.

The polls are surprisingly close, although it's limited to a selected enthusiasts in this board.

Time to go after the few true undecided TSXers on the board. Demographics say they are independent moderates who used to row their own gears, but now live in congested cities. Perhaps a 3rd MT vs AT debate will sway them. If not, we'll have to start the negative campaigning.

I don't know...The SS may get me in trouble with the law soon if I don't relax a bit.

I think we need a poll on how many people use the SS...(maybe like all the time, 25% of the time, when in traffic, etc...)

I'm gonna jump back in here as one of those "moderates" who used to do his own shifting, but deals with too much traffic now. I love my AT for commuting and cruising and such, but if I had access to a lot of fun curvy roads I'd still like an MT. It's so much more involving and responsive. The SS is an attempt to provide a compromise and it does help, but I do occassionally miss my clutch. My left foot feels neglected sometimes.

Except for the Baltimore-Washington 30 mile stretch, I thought I-95 was a pretty nice piece of interstate, even for an MT.

Nope, it's hell in most states it goes through. I've been in parking lot-like traffic on I-95 in NJ, PA, MD, CT, VA (the worst), and even SC (!).

Come on now, we want a fair poll. If he has a AT, not only is he smart but his vote belongs in the AT column.

That is the true sign of someone who is regretting in his inner self that he didn't buy a 6MT, and now he's making an obsession of it, to the point where he "accidentally" votes in 6MT, only for the moment of pride of belonging to the group he wished he did.

As for you domn, I suspect that you also have issues with your 5AT, in fact, your postings throughout the last year and half tend to reveal you feel diminished by the fact that you are the unhappy owner of a 5AT (though you would never ever admit this, as well as deny vehemently). But you actually try and compensate for this, you try to give yourself an upraise in your self-esteem by taking on a leading role in the 5AT fanboy club by trying to help every 5AT owners feel good about themselves, and even going as far as wanting to change the results of polls to make sure there is enough representation on your side so that everyone and yourself will then know in their inner selves you have chosen the right orientation (:cough: :ghey: :cough: ) with your 5AT....

First off at agreeing with yourself, that was funny.

Originally I thought Clutchperformer and fdl were my main enemies in this battle, now it seems sauceman has joined the colalition of the 6MT snobs

Secondly, yes I vehemently deny regretting my decesion (at least in public )

No but we can make fun of people who HAVE navi. Those $2000 road maps are pretty dainty.

You'd have to make fun of all of Canada, but I'm sure that wouldn't be a first.

Maybe so, but my Navi impresses more people that see my car then any mod, color choice or transmission choice.....

Dude that 5AT forever thing was a joke, wasn't it obvious?.

When I buy my toy during my midlife crsis, it will most definently be an MT. Then again, by that time there may not be any true MT's in production???
