What tint percentage would everyone recommend for a NBP? I am thinking 30% but will that be dark enough?

 

I just got my TSX about 2 weeks ago and i recently got 20% and love it, i think its perfect. got my W7 in just need my alpine and my suspension!

 

considering you live in jersey like myself, cops will bust your balls for tint on the front windows. 20 would be too dark, i would go for 35% like mine

 

yup. i had 20% on my eclipse, and got pulled over for it. i have 35% on my TL, as most of my friends do, and no problems with the cops. i have the windshield tinted with 50%... it looks more balanced this way. no problem seeing at night, either.

 

i have 25% and it's good...

Hah, college cops only car about drunk driving and shit like that so many people have 5% tint all around up here, and I feel completely safe with 20%. I <3 FSU

 

thats not fair, you get pulled over around me for driving past 12am and always get pulled over for tints. i think im going with the 31% titanium tint-its what all my friends have around me and they don't get pulled over that much

my tint shop had a warantee including getting pulled over.

Just be sure not to violate your local laws. There is nothing worse than having to pay a ticket for something that you could have made a wise decision on...then having to get the tint redone too.

In Texas, the maximum levels are 35% front, 20% rear.

 

Does anyone know any good tint shops in North Jersey? I'm in Hoboken, and I don't know where to go for good quality tints that won't affect my navi.

Hah our roads are packed at 2 because the clubs get out, and cars dont clear the street till about 4am 5am usually? Gotta love college

 

ill be getting 40% this week, i hope it looks good, it might be to light but thats the closest i can get with out being illeagal.
