Much different world, but makes more financial sense. With house "mods" you can actually add value to your property, sell it faster, and possibly write-off the interest on the home improvement loans.

Then again, you'd know more about certain tax incentives. Can you deduct the interest on a home improvement loan?

With car mods, you actually run the risk of lowering your resale value. You could pretty much kiss your good bye. Wait a minute -- why am I modding again?
