What do you guys think about a RHD conversion?
I just wanted to know what do you guys think about a Right Hand Drive conversion for our TSX? Do you guys think its worth the doing? I'm not going to tell you the price but I'll give you a hint. Its alot cheaper than the Comptech supercharger kit.

daicacharco are you planning on doing the labor yourself? If you haven't had a lot of practice taking off interior panels I would suggest practicing with smaller projects first (maybe do some dynamat in the doors). You really don't want to crack any clips and end up with rattles.
Also, have you looked at a Helms manual to see what is really involved? I don't know of there is a helms manual equivalent for the overseas models. Also, are you going to have to move the circuit box?

I've done many RHD conversions before. I've gotten better and faster. I'm really confident I can get this done correctly. Within 2 weeks max. I'm going to take my time on this one. I'm going to be cruising in my Hatch! for now haha.

Its not about making the car faster, or perform better. its more about the owners personal preference.

But then again, who said I was going to tell the dmv its rhd? For all they know someone crazy ( like me ) will go for that. If their "illegal" please determine why my friends EF hatch were able to be ref'd and bar'd with a jdm gsr motor w/ a rhd conversion?
We're not talking about cutting off frames or exchanging body external parts. Its just internals.

I can't imagine trying to sell a RHD car in North America. I wouldn't pay a dime for a RHD car, and I'm a car enthusiast. I think this project sounds like a big money pit, IMO.

Not worth the effort unless you can ensure yourself a buyer when you are bored with the car. It's a lot of money that you may never even get close to recouping so it's not worth it.
As for being more comfortable driving RHD, I suggest you get used to LHD if you're going to be in the US for any period of time because if a cop happens to take notice, expect to be hassled.

how come the USPS mailmen get to drive RHD vehicles! so, i guess it may not be illegal after all! Or you can use the TSX on the weekends or weeknights and be a rural route mail carrier as a side job and make extra money in the process too since the car will be RHD then. nothing wrong with extra cash

If you've seriously done a few of these before, and it's really what you want to spend your time/money on then sure, do it. Chances are it'll look pretty sweet and you'll be the only TSX/Accord stateside that's RHD. If you're using your car mainly as a show car, it should work out fine for you.
However, if this is gonna be your daily driver there are certainly some things you should take into account. As stated, intersections and turns in general are going to be more difficult. But also things like using drive-throughs, taking toll tickets and parking tickets from the little machine, and other simple things like that are going to be nearly impossible if you don't have a passenger at all times.

It seems like you already made your mind up about what you are going to do. So why did you waste time asking people if you already knew you wanted to do it.
It's your money, spend it how you want, although I see no benefit from it. You may win some car shows, but if your only doing if for that reason why not get a RHD Integra or something?
