I'm looking to maybe getting a TSX as an upgrade from my 04 4cyl Accord, but since some of the smallest annoyances may slip from my mind when I testdrive, I'd like to see if anyone here can input their dislikes.

So far what I dislike:
06 redesign kills the front lip, looks horrible
06 redesign comes with the ugliest wheels... what were they thinking?
split key fob, my Accord has the buttons all on one key
no push start (yeah, i'm asking for a lot here hehe)

 

I absolutely LOVE my TSX, but if I had to change something, anything for that matter, it would be the DBW. Blah. Everything else stays. Oh and RDS integration as well would've been nice.

 

Same here, i love the car but do have a couple dis-likes though....

-pass. windows arent automatic roll down, same with the sun roof, gotta sit there and hold them.
-Stereo doesnt display the CD artist or song just says disc 1,2 etc.
-no power
-Comes with XM instead of Sirius and only way to switch it is soundgate or another device.
-Angel eyes would have been a great upgrade
-Doesnt have anything for fuel avg, tank avg, distance to empty, etc.
-Same here, key plus key fob is annoying. What would of been cool is if they had what infiniti adopted with just having to be close to the vehicle with the key device.

Mostly mine are very small petty things. I have had my 05 for about a month and half now and love it. Chose this over an a4. Its a great car thats gonna last ya quite a while.

 

Do you have the Navigation package? With such a huge screen, I would expect it to be able to scroll the artist and title. Can the 06 play MP3 CDs?

Aww man, i don't have a sunroof on my Accord, but I love the auto rolldown of the driver's side already, and if the sunroof can't autoslide back then

 

- You can see artist and title only for XM
- Can't play MP3 CDs but there's an aux input to connect to a mp3 player (song/artist not visible on nav)
- I think the driver side has auto rolldown for the window

I don't own a TSX (YET) but here are some more features Lexus/Infiniti/Bmw/other luxury brands have that the TSX is lacking:
- adaptive headlights
- intelligent key
- ventilated seats
- memory mirrors/steering wheel
- backup camera
- real time traffic update
- auto tilt down mirrors when in reverse
- auto rain wipers
- some other miscellaneous auto something because we are so lazy

of course all those features will make the car cost $10,000 more.....

 

some minor gripes:
-no leveling of HIDs (manual or auto level)... since installing my aspecs, i think i've been blinding oncoming drivers when i have ppl riding along
-no RDS
-rattles! i've fixed the rears; not gotta get that steering column rattle sorted out
-less use of hard plastics on the mid-lower section of the doors. my old 98 accord had better quality materials on the doors.
-better stock speakers. again, my accord won here.

of course there are many other features i'd wish the TSX would have but i'm being realistic for the the value of a price the TSX is.

The reason I have Drive by Wire so much is as of right now it is keeping there from being a turbo released for the TSX.

 

Compared to my previous cars that were all lowered, I hate the high center of gravity on this car. Everytime I enter/exit a driveway, the irritation cabin pitch causes my key fob will smack against the steering column.

I'm close to resorting to driving with just the key in the ignition and having the FOB separate from my keychain everytime I enter the car.
