What did your tsx cost??

Im curious what people paid out there for thier tsx? I'm trading in my VR6 and fighting about $values and what they are making on a sale. Sticker price is $ 37ish Can, could you indicate what youve paid in what US/CAN.
Ive been looking at A4s and TSXs and Audi will give me more for my trade but I like TSX more when driving. Bottom line here is I want a better deal on a TSX.

Thanks.

When you say sticker price are you reffeing to "on the road"? The MSRP (sticker price) of the TSX in Canada is $34,800. The best deal I've seen so far was just over 37K on the road, so after taxes, PDI, Freight etc.

$37 Can on the sticker but inc taxes would be ~$42k plus extra warranty would slide in at closer to $44k. They are trying to tell me that the price is fixed across Can., thats BS. The sales guy claims that they are making 2k on a new car sale all in. Im just testing his word by finding out what everyone else paid. For just a little more I could get a really nice A4. Id like a TSX but dont think its worth as much as an A4.

No, MSRP across Canada is $34,800. If you add Freight and PDI you get to about $36,300 +15% tax (presuming 7% privincial tax) comes to $41,275. Now you should be able to get a bare minimum of 1K off that price at the absolute worst.

Ext warranty and accessories is another story though. At least get the winter mats thrown in if you can.

I paid $27k with trunk tray, all season mats, fog lights, and wheel locks. With the 8.625% tax here in NY, it came to ~$30.5k

Hope that helps. :P

Please post only the CAR PRICE + DESTINATION...
No one should be interested in OUT-THE-DOOR amount.

US$27,150 = Navigation + All-Season Mats + Wheel Locks

$38492.80 with taxes (Ontario 15%). The minimum you should bargain off is $1,000 - but I think I've seen discounts posted on here up to around $1,500 in Canada. Also, buying accessories gives the dealer more margin, and more room to move. You could wait for the '05's, then an '04 might be easier to deal on? I have no options, SSM 5AT.

MSRP is $35,750 WITH Freight & PDI. Add the tax = $41,112 (ON 15%). I simply did not pay Freight & PDI (there was a 2 month wait to get the car), and got about $1300 off sticker.

Oh I see...... How do you get out of paying freight by waiting?? They still need to ship it to the dealer.

Wasn't the msrp is $34,800? I paid $38800 on the road for a PWP 6sp and no wait. And also get 25% off on extended warranty. It seems like I still paid too much since someone get a quote for $37000 on the road and get free bodykit. But I got quote from 4 dealers and 2 brokers and they all gave me $39000 on the road.

Bought it at Acura of the Desert in Cathedral City. Negotiated by e-mail with several So Cal dealers and they met my price. It was late December and I think they wanted to make some sales numbers for the year. I got lucky.

ians - That's why I said "...WITH Freight & PDI". Yes it does have an MSRP of 34,800. Where you live has a lot to do with it. Sometimes even driving a half an hour outside of a major city will save you some money.

I enjoy shopping for cars and playing with the sales staff, they’re usually not that bright – either that or they are just desperate for a sale!

When buying a new auto always offer invoice, or maybe a little more if it’s a hot item, and don’t be afraid to walk out the door – they will always call you back, and if they don’t there is always another dealer that will.

Oh yea, I also got the all-weather package for free.
