Exclamation What color should i paint my Fog Covers

I have an 08 and im going to have my friend paint the fog light covers. Reason why i want them painted is because i got some wax on them, and they have white marks on them that will not come out. Secondly, They look faded.

I either want to paint them

- The color of the car (NHBP)
- Flat black
- Matte black - same color/finish as the A-pillars on the doors

What do you guys think?
im leaning towards the matte. just want to get some other opinions/comments

i don't see why you would paint them anything but nhbp. the 06+ fog covers aren't like the 04-05 fog covers. They are meant to actually look like part of the front bumper. It will look out of place if you paint them flat or matte

Actually...I just reread your original post..why don't you get a clay bar and some polish...i bet that will bring it back to stock...

I think that since the fog covers are very low to the ground, most likely you'll get the paint chipped off quickly from debris and rocks. They might wind up looking bad in a few months.

My friend is a painter, works for the body shop around the corner.
So i dont need to buy the paint, and if they get chipped, he will just repaint them. The fact that i dont have to buy paint, pay a shop, etc is whats really makes me want to do it.
