We have an '05 MDX Touring as well and have had a few problems with it ... TPMS went bazerk, subwoofer in trunk blew (I swear I didn't do it) , horn stopped working and the battery has died twice due to security system (or so they say). It has 6,000 miles for crying out loud and is driven like 5 or so days a month! Any issues with your family's?

If I had to pick favorites of the cars I had in the past, I´d have to pick the civic esi and the hyundai coupe, both wonderful cars.

The Corolla was pretty beat up when I bought it; had accident damage; not very stylish; the interior was faded and cracked; car was slow; engine was loud; handling was poor. After all was said and done a very reliable car.

The Prelude was a blast to drive. It was fast and got good mileage; had stylish looks; predictable handling; smooth on the highway. Also a very reliable car.

The Pickup was a base model. It has 140,000 miles on it now and aside from some rattles and scratches, the truck runs very well. The vehicle is heavy and the brakes are not enough to stop in sudden maneuvers. It's not unsafe, but better brakes would make stopping more comfortable. Engine always starts and transmission has no problems. This basic model had maybe the fewest problems because I bought it new and there were no options to stop working.

The TSX is probably the best of the bunch. Although, the Prelude was a joy to own and fun to drive as well. The TSX cost a lot more so the Prelude was a much better value, but 22 years between the two cars means there's a world of features and engineering that just weren't available back then. I am a little disappointed in some of the quality issues such as the rattles and road noise of the the stock Michelins. The ride could be smoother on the highway also, but the handling is great; styling is the best ever (do people really prefer the TL looks over the TSX?). The features are unmatched; the gauges are awesome; MID is really nice; plus the Honda engine is fun to rev although fuel economy in the city could be better; on the highway it's pretty good, though. XM sounds muddy and the sound system needs more dynamic range with an EQ. The extra touches are nice to notice when you see them for the first time, like the side mirrors blinkers turn orange when blinking, but look white when they're not blinking. Finally, listening to the ipod using the auxiliary input is a must these days.

we have highly unpredictable weather. and if you can call it a riding season it´s I´d say somewhere from 3-6months(in those months we can get all the weather gods up against us). but sometimes very rarely you can ride all year long?

and I agree with you on the bike I totally loved my cbr

How do you like the RX400h? How is the gas milege? A girl I work with is looking at it and she really thinks she's going to get the sticker MPG and I've heard that you don't get near those numbers.
