That New Yorker was sweet. Just a bit bigger than a K-car, 4-cyl engine, with Voice package. Ran the darn thing to 275,000 km (170,000 mi). I think the fact that it was my first car is why I loved it so much!

Then, I clued in and became a Honda guy! The Pathfinder is my primarily my wife's car...

One is in Memphis - my wife is a FedEx pilot and that is her airport car there. Here we have two cars in a garage adjacent to the house, and we have a large metal building (40 by 60) that has the other cars, the motorcycles, tractor, etc. 16 acres so lots of room.

The Subaru FE (someone asked) was a version of the coupe specifically to have greater fuel economy. It was EPA rated (by the old standard) at 50 mpg highway. I actually got 53 mpg on one tank. It couldn't get out of its own way, but sold for 3999 new.

One other thing: which car do you wish you still had? The only one I really miss is that 86 Maxima.

i've owned this car for about a year now, and still holding up very nice. i'm glad i bought this car and not the Rav4 or CRV. with all the snow we had here in Colorado, i was able to plow through anything while my brother's and my sister's CRV and Rav4 sit at home waiting for the snow to melt. i think it is a great car for the price!!!

I would agree with you, my wife loves ours, its a lux or premium I cant remember which they called it, the fully loaded one with leather/heated seats, upgraded wheels XM and such. Having a lot of 4x4s in the past, we chose this one over the X3 as it had the same amount of features less the nav but with real 4wd not awd crap that doesnt work off road. The 4wd high lock and low lock is nice too if you actually take it off road. There is nothing in its class with the same power and lux items for the money, it actually is outfitted as well as the RDX and X3s which we were considering but for 5-6K less and a better warranty. Only thing we didnt like was no Navi option, still none for 07, but aftermarket will more than sufice. The one thing my wife likes the most though is the keyless start function and remote entry, I dont think we have ever used the actual key to start or unlock this suv.

Sorry got off topic a bit, but I have been very impressed with the GV since we bought it.
