Exclamation Washers for 6MT fluid change?

I need to do my A3 service (tranny fluid) on my '06 6MT
I called my local dealer and picked up the 20MM and 14MM washers, but here's the issue:
From multiple sources (including this forum) I found these parts:
Fill- 90404-RAR-M00 (20MM)
Drain- 90403-RAR-M00 (14MM)
The acura dealer gave me
94109-20000 (20MM), and 94109-14000 (14MM- the same as the oil drain plug washer)

Can anyone shed light on the discrepancy?

Are they different materials? outside diameters? thicknesses? extra magic?

They're all crush washers, and have the same purpose. The most likely difference is the thickness of the washer. One may be thicker than the other, but they're very likely all interchangeable (assuming you have the correct diameter).

The replacement washers for the manual tranny are thicker and black in color compared to the aluminum crush washer that is silver in color for the oil plug.

The ones on my car and the new ones I bought were both silver in colour.

I got my new ones from Honda -- just asked for 14 and 20mm transmission drain washers and he knew exactly what I wanted.

They're no magical item. Just 2-3mm thick and of the proper inner and outer diameter.

As long as the washers do their job of making a tight seal, then
When I went to my local Acura parts dealer with the part numbers, the guy couldn't find them, so instead handed me 14 and 20mm aluminum washers saying this is what their service guys use; but having already done a tranny fluid replacement, I thought the washers were too thin. Didn't want to skimp out on $6 for tranny washers, so I just ordered them from Kaleb.

I spoke to the parts guy and he told me that his techs use the generic washers and doesn't know why there's a diffrent part number.
I'm going to try the other Acura dealer in the area and see if they have the real ones in stock.

Update- The other acura dealer told me they also use the generic 94109-XX000 crush washers for their service dept.
I'll compare the old and new when i do the service this weekend and post back.
Thanks guys.
