VIN#'s

question..this is gonna sound stupid as hell but i gotta ask. How do you tell which car yours is the production #? is it in the vin? and which set of numbers is it? Im an engine nut but i got curious seeing everyone post what number they got and i looked and im not sure which it is.

kk so if i had number 1 it would be 4 letters and a number? is that how it works im gonna look later after i get off work

Trying identifying the production number for a TSX by using this way, this was how I was told a couple months ago:

JH4CL9XXXXC011293

"11293" would be the build number of the car.

how does indigo blue pearl and premium white pearl look like on the Tsx since they're only available in Canada?

Who told you Premium Whit Pearl is only available in Canada? Did my dealer do some sort of a MEGA swap? I don't think so.

Maybe he meant the PWP/Ebony combo, which is Canada only.

The PWP is available in the US but not listed on the table. There must have been some changes since the manual was released. Btw, the manual is the first edition April 2004.

thanks agent chen it just looks almost like the carbon grey, but a little darker.

I think it looks stronger in colour on a sunny day. Just like the milano red. I wish we had arctic blue here..

i got my TSX on 7 jan 04. The side curtain airbags is standard, even in the TSX brochure and website. so is there any one who have a TSX which don;t have curtain airbags?
