Valeo Wiper Problems?

Any of you w/ OEM '06 TSX (or Aftermarket '05 or before) valeo wipers have problems with them chattering?? My passenger side wiper chatters all of the time, interminent, low, and high speed. I'm thinking for a brand new vehicle this shouldn't be the case.

I'm going to take it back to Acura to get fixed but wanted to know if this is an inherent defect in the wiper or not. I may go aftermarket if it is. .

I know it's trival, but it's not when you have to hear it mile after mile when it rains. . .

Here in the Raleigh area, we had the remnents of Alberto roll through, which dumped an unbelievable amount of rain... All the valleys flooded, etc...

My new wipers got quite a workout. They are very effective and did not chatter. Usually if a wiper chatters and the blades are new or in good condition, it means that the springs on the wiper arm are too weak. Perhaps Acura had a bad run of wiper arm springs?

Yes, problem right off the bat w/ psgr side wiper. Dealer swapped them for brand new ones off the lot but didn't help much. I now use a RainX type product that helps quite a bit.

Mine did so during the rain that happened about 2 weeks after I got the car...it makes the sound when the driver's side wiper is exactly vertical

I have the 06 wiper swap on my 04, and they are definitely noisy. I even seem to need to replace the driver's side wiper blade every maintenance, because it becomes too floppy and starts letting water through if I wait too long to replace it.

My 05's stock wipers were useless. I replaced them with Valeo Ultimates and I couldn't be more satisfied... quiet and work much better than stock.

I clean my windscreen with the bug side of the washmitt when washing the car. Once clean, I apply a layer of RainX. After buffing off, the wipers will chatter. I spray water and buff off once more and clean the blades with rubbing alcohol. It's fine after that.

mine did. dealer swapped 'em last friday, works great now especially with all the rain we've been having. only thing that sucks is it's hella windy so as the wipers are coming back down it blows residual water from the driver side to the passenger side.
