Well it depends how long are you willin' to go before changing you oil again. Anything over 3g's I would go with the Mobil filter.

Mobil 1 oil filters are one of the best in the business.
Honda makes 3 OEM filters. There is the JDM, the assembled in USA, and the Made In Canada version. Of the 3, the JDM one is the best... ranks right up there with Mobil 1's oil filter. Trouble is, you will only see the JDM version when you take delivery of your car... after that your options are the USA version or Canadian version. The USA version is very close to the JDM version except not as good. The Canadian version, which is the most common one out there is by far the worst of the 3 Honda OEM filters.
Even though it's the worst of the 3, it's still pretty good, and I trust that over other brands that are out there. But if you want to pay the price of a Mobil 1 filter, you are getting a better filter.

Not an Ashtray
you know, I've been driving Honda products for a little more than 15 years. I put 80,000 on my last Accord. Never did anything but use conventional 10w-30 and got my filters at the quick-e-lube.
My point is that MObil 1 is great and all, but I doubt it makes any real difference in the durability of the car.
Change the Oil every five thousand miles, use conventional 10w-30 and decent filters, and it will last a long, long time.
Just my opinion....

My current Honda has 108,000 miles and is running strong. I buy Chevron brand oil at Costco. Even if Mobil 1 could offer a longer engine life, I would not likely realize it. Regular motor oil is plenty good. My filters are usually Fram that I buy at Wally-Mart for $3. That combo hasn't failed me one bit.

also, it's made to Honda's standard's and not Fram... a fram filter is not as good as the Honda spec version of the fram filter.
