It's more impressing when reading a statement about his car.

"Cars Like This One Are Few & Far Between. Only about 5% of the TSX's have the actual fog lamps. My Car has the original fog lamps, spoiler, acura original 17" Chrome Wheels, Tinted Windows, Premium Sound System, Full Flush Leather."

I sent him an e-mail asking if he really thought he'd get that price and that most new cars are at that price or less.

I think hes trying to get back every penny he spent on that tsx. Dipping the rims in nasty chrome adding the fogs. He wants every penny back.

I've seen dealers do similiar things where they will sell a 04 TSX, no navi for about 26,000 - 28,000. I considered buying a used one for a while but I opted for a new 05 TSX, no navi for 26,500.00. It's crazy but I think there are plenty of people out there that will buy a used one at these prices. Some people just don't haggle and I've seen the same thing with civics.

My girlfriend bought a brand new 05 Civic EX for 16,000 (no tax & License) yet I see used EX Civics advertised all the time for about 15,500 - 17,500.

may be price is high because he opted for "four wheel drive" TSX.

look under the Options. He checked for "4-Wheel Drive."

This guy is a moron. I nicely tried to point out the car wasn't 4WD and here was his response:
Maybe you should do some research in the fact that AWD (Which means All Wheel Drive in case you didn't know) was not an option to choose from. Therefore meaning 4WD was the closest relation.

Thanks for your concern

def a moron...

here was his response to me pointing out its an absurd price...

Yes the TSX does start around 26,7 to 27K. This model has so much added onto it that the others do not have. If you pay 27K for it you will get the car, the leather, no chrome wheels, no spoiler, no fog lamps, etc.. If you have any questions please take the info of this vehicle of the ad page and place it at bluebook.com web site. It is the kelly blue book retail price for used and new cars. That site and the credit union is where I researched and found the price to ask for my car.

If you can buy a new one for that, please send me a copy of the invoice! I purchased mine personally from my friend/owner of the Acura dealership. I have always bought a car at invoice or a little lower, if anyone knows how to buy a car, I do! The MSRP was 31,9K.

TSX used values should come down to more reasonable levels starting next spring when a bunch a 3 year old leased cars hit the market. Even with a high residual of 60% (what was residual anyway) an 04 TSX bought in the spring of 03 should only be worth about $16K next spring.

When reality hits he'll lower his expectations.

He sure doesn't know how to buy/sell car. Probably he paid full $3000 for his dipped
chrome rims that Acura dealers usually sells for.

To be honest he got ripped off by his friend/owner whatever for his TSX. :shakehead
