Underbody kit prices for 06 TSX

So i'm considering the underbody kit. I'm wondering how many people went with it, and what prices they were offered. I'm pretty sure i saw a few mentions in some of the threads, but i lost track of which ones.

I got a great deal on the car, 27.500 plus tax, but the price on the underbody kit was 1995 installed. i think that's a bit steep. how are others doing?

Do they sell any 06 lip kits outside of the dealership yet?

Well you can get the OEM bodykit for the 04/05 for about $850-$950 from some of the online dealers from Ebay. That's for parts only. Many people here have been doing their own installs on the kit. It's not too hard, just kind of time consuming.

i wont be doing installation

i wont ever have time to do the installation. While the point is well taken, it just is not an option for me. I'm wondering if the kit itself is any nicer.

i'm just looking to get a slightly sportier look, i think the OEMs are fine.

Then prepair to get F'ed in the A with labor. It should only take you 3 hours tops to install.

$1995 is way too steep though, you should be able to talk them down...

well, the Mugen lip kit for 03-05 is only like 2 grand cdn.... but the full kit is around 4 grand....so since the OEM is 2 grand, i rather get the Mugen lip!

There was a dealer from NY a couple of months ago who had a great price on an OEM bodykit installed. Unless you want to work it into the financing you can always get the bodykit somewhere else for less after you get the car.

I think Rmatic was interested in the bodykit. Maybe he can tell you who the dealer was.

if you speak to Rmatic, ask him to message me. i don't know how to find him as i am new to the board. but i'm perfectly willing to get the kit somewhere else if it saves me a couple hundred.
