unbreakable autolock--thoughts or opinions?
i searched a few threads regarding the usuage of steering wheel clubs or brake locks and it seems ppl either use them as a theft deterrant, a handy weapon, or think they're useless and if someone wants your car hard enough they'll get it.
i guess i'm thinking of getting one just as a deterrent. anyone have the unbreakable autolock brake lock? any opinions about it? or would you recommend a different brand or model?
here's the one in question (left side): http://www.autolock.com/Unbreakable_Auto_BL.htm
and no, i will not be putting that nasty steering wheel cover in my car

I am Ahab!
Get it. It's all about layers when it comes to security. The more the better, anything that slows them down helps.
I wish that was true, there are other ways of getting around the imobilizer.

I use the auto lock on my car so does my friend. He has a Honda civic..umm well did..he traded it in for a TSX after seeing mine haha. Anyway he parked his Civic in Chinatown and they broke in and but didn't see the autolock. They got so pissed that they took a hammer and pounded all these dents into his hood. Honestly, it is just a deterrent. If they want it they will find a way to get

why am i not surprised? i can totally see that happening in chinatown.
i get a little nervous when i park in flushing b/c i feel like the probability of someone doing something to my car increases since there are ricers there. but i hope they'd hit the civics first.
i may just end up getting one and keeping it in the car.
