I've had my TSX 6sp w/ nav. for three days now and I'm spending lots of time with the manuals! One thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to turn off the naviation system display. When I start the car I get the Acura logo and display. If I don't do anything, the initial display eventually goes dark and the screen stays that way until I access the naviation system or something else involving the video dispaly. Once I do that, however, I haven't figured out how to turn off the display. If I access the map feature, for example, the screen lights up with the standard icons and options. If I don't do anything after than, the initial map menu stays on-screen until I turn the car off. There must be some way of turning the display off without having to turn the car off! I'll be embarrassed if I've missed something obvious in the manuals, but I've looked a number of times and haven't found this topic discussed. So, I'll simply ask here: how do I turn off the display? Thank.s

 

Go to setup, under display click "off"... or you can use the voice activation and say "setup", then "display off"... either one works.
