TSX Wagon??

Any one know of plans to make the TSX in wagon form? I know about the Accord Euro version in the wagon, but havent heard anything about that possibility in the U.S.
Maybe a repost (what happened to the search ability)...let me know.

TSX wagon will never make it here IMO... Most people in the US are SUV crazed and would rather have something labelled as an SUV or minivan than a wagon... (the idea of bigger is better and safer) Now if the sales of the IS sportcross or even the A4 wagon outsell an SUV, I think you'd see more luxo/entry luxo wagons on the road.

TSX-R-US is right, we now have the RDX going into production, I think you will see the chances of the TSX wagon going to nill.

I bet the RDX will be a 2.4L 4cyl with AWD and the ability to seat 5 and store lots of goods....if it sells for under 30k that would be our USDM Wagon IMO.

I'd like to see the Wagon over here too, but since we have a TSX sedan in our driveway I'd likely get the RDX to replace my Accord instead of a TSX wagon.

I really like sporty wagons. S4 Avant is my cup of tea. To bad a married a woman that can't get the grocery getter out of her head. When I was serious about a 2.5 GT, she wouldn't let me go for a wagon. They may add a few pounds, but they are way more useful and just as good at putting smiles on the faces of the drivers. Plus they would always be way more unique here in the states.

Glad to see someone else has the wife hates them issue too. Mine hates most SUV too, so no matter what we do a 4dr sedan is about as practicle as it gets for us. She even hates my winter beater Chevy S10...not that I love the thing but it's been handy at Lowe's and Home Depot way too often. But don't worry she liked the Lexus RX330, wow thanks sweaty think you could like one for under $44k?

BMW only sold a handful of the E46 325iT wagon, so the new E90 3-series will not see the wagon version come to the US. Small wagons do seem to sell OK in the lower price ranges in the US, but the only manufacturer who sells a lot of wagons in the near-luxury segment is Volvo.

Yes, I'd like a TSX wagon and make mine a diesel, too!

Guys, go in the RDX section, and you will find there a thread where Justin brings in all the latest news about the TSX: No TSX wagon for sure, IMA for TSX seems pretty much dead (so sad, I was an automatic buyer for that car), 6MT is put into question, it could be replaced by CVT and/or SMG type transmition.

Take away the 6MT? This can't be! I know I won't buy another one if they do. I know that a SMG type gearbox is better in performance (at least BMW's is) but call me crazy, I still want to row my own gears. I need three pedals!

Here! here! Surely 6MT is doing will. Or is it? Anyone have any break out as to percentage of 6MT to AT for the TSX?

I have not be been impressed with the manumatic in the RSX. AT might be easier and even smoother in day to day but give me the ablity to drop a gear or two to carve a turn or clear some twit who is poking along a city street. 3 pedals is life.

Perhaps I'll buy another 6MT to keep as a spare for when this one wears out <g>.

If Honda won't sell a station wagon, then no way Acura would. It's all about the bottom line - not enough sales to make money.

It would be crazy to do away with the 6MT - every luxo maker has an MT in their entry level sedan.

Hey thanks for all your replies....I understand the SUV trend nowadays and think that jwb998 nailed it with the "unique" comment. I was looking into geting a bmw 325 wagon before i got my TSX and im certain if the wagon version was to come over id be first in line to trade my sedan in on one.

Hi, NHBP007-san! I'm from Japan, and enjoy driving JDM ACCORD WAGON.
It's a pity that you can't get the TSX-wagon in US. As you imagine it, ACCORD WAGON (ACCORD TOURER) is a good car which has the both charm of good handling and utility. In Japan there are many enthusiastic fans for ACCORD WAGON.

Your feeling may be similar to the one we have for Acura TL in US.
