What accord are you referring to? Only the USDM Accord V6 has 240 hp, last I checked.

You're wrong. You must have a "very unflexable neck" or something. In simplistic terms, the TSX is a modified version of the Accord Type-S.

If you had an extra 40 horsepower, what would you do with it? What performance aspect of the car falls short of your expectations? I'm sure there are some aftermarket gadgets that could fulfill your needs.

Yup over in the UK the TSX is Accord Type S with 3 different engine to choose from. 2.0l iVTec which is the SE model, 2.4l iVTec is the Type S, and they have the 2.2 iCTDi which is diesel model.

I believe the Type S Accord Euro is only 200ps, in other words, 197.26HP to be exact.

Euro Accord Type-S w/ 2.4 i-VTECH engine has 190 PS @ 6800 rpm; 223Nm @ 4500 rpm.

This is according to the offical site in UK: http://www.honda.co.uk/car/

It seems the Euro Type S has a much more toque than ours in North America.... unless if I read the unit incorrectly.

Different set up and tunning on the engine.....

The regulation in Europe is different than here in terms of safety standard and that may be why................

The supercharger is probably the best performance boost available for the TSX... Doesn't it promise 240hp, or thereabouts?

An SC would put you above 240 hp at the crank.
A TSX with SC along with intake and header probably puts out about 280 hp at the crank.

Screw Euro Accord, screw UK specs
let's just go back to the "motherland" of Accord/TSX shall we ?
Here is your comparison matrix
http://www.honda.co.jp/ACCORD/grade-data/index.html

"Type S" : 200 HP @ 6,800 RPM
