Are people really getting deals like 25000 out the door for the TSX? I just was quoted a TSX and got it for 29000 out the door. I was wonderin....

 

I would say no. Retail is $26,990 with destination. I've heard of max $1500 to $2000 off BEFORE tax. Granted I live in Oregon with no sales tax so MSRP + doc = out the door.

EDIT: I goofed. I was remembering the $1500 from Canadian dollars. THe most I've seen otherwise in the US is $1100. Sorry for the confusion.

 

I guess $25K out the door is possible but not very likely. Maybe in a state with no sales tax. I got mine for $25K + T&L. That's a little under $27.4K OTD (Friggin' California sales tax!!) Now's a great time to shop as dealers are likely to want to move what they have on the lot before the end of the year.

 

25k out the door isn't going to happen, even in Oregon. If a dealer owns the car for 24.9-ish...why sould they give it away? I've seen a couple of them go for $750 over, but not any better than that realistically. You never know what a dealer will do if they're making money back somewhere else on the deal (like in the trade, accessories, or F&I).

you don't know anything at all! I paid $26700 for the following:
5spd auto 2004 ACURA TSX w/wheel locks, trunk tray, cargo net, body color door edge guard trim, Tinted windows, and XM RADIO installed, and 1st oil change (FREE). The total sticker on this car was 27035+accessories est $500 + 1300 for XM=$28835
so i only pushed the price down $1800?! We know you're not gonna make any deals, but thanks for the heads up~ Hey guys, I wanted to say, I had 26k w/out tints and XM locked in when I made my bid for 26.7k with another dealer...factoring in $900 for the xm....

 

I am picking up my CG/Quartz/5auto/with Navi. It has mud flaps,wheel locks, trunk tray, all season matts. I paid 28,100 (includes the 500 delivery charge) if that helps/matters.
