TSX Navigation Questions

Hello, I have two questions... I would like to know how hard it is to put an Navi system on a TSX that doesn't have Navi, is it possible? Secondly, how would you guys rate the Navi system on the TSX compared to the ones you can buy in the store for a couple hundred bucks?

Although I have navi on my TSX and love it, I think that your best route is going aftermarket considering you can get a unit $189-600. My car cost $2000 more for navi from the factory and might actually cost that much and more from your dealer to install. You will need new head unit, integrate all that crazy stuff with AC, audio and GPS antennae (also to be wired to and installed on roof). Also you need to install a big boxy DVD player on the trunk roof for the GPS maps (included most likely, but expensive.

Again, I'm not an expert so dont know exact costs nor whether its at all possible, but your time and money will be best suited for a decent but cheap portable unit. I recommend magellan maestro 3100 ($199) or the garmin Nuvi 200 ($199) as cheap but cool and really useful alternatives. The interface and maps are sometimes more updated and intuitive than whats in my TSX. You can spend a little more and get the handfree bluetooth built in on higher models if your TSX doesnt have it standard. Just remember to put it and the mount away when you park it so it doesn't create a target for theives

I bought the Magellan unit. It was $200 from Radio Shack. It works great.
