TSX for mom

i'm in charge of looking for a new car for my mom.

we looked at the 350Z and that car is really nice, i wouldn't mind her owning it meaning i can drive it whenever i want. but it's kinda expensive and not very practical.

i considered the '05 IS300, but i don't see it as a better car than the TSX.

if she ends up getting the TSX it will be an automatic, yea i tried to convince her to go with a manual for any car, but no luck.

does the TSX have the same auto trany as the Honda Accord? my dad's '01 Accord's auto trany died after 100k

should i go for the 05 or 06 TSX?

any advice you can give about the car will be great. thanks

06 will get a power bump and some additional geewiz features. Are you looking for a sedan or coupe? Take a look at the new Lexus IS250 as well.

hmmmm....My mom loves my car, but to each her own. How much driving does she do? If she is on the highway a bunch I would say no since the car is a bit loud inside. But for going to the mall and what not....she'll love it.

Really? I don't think its really loud at all. I have the Greddy Evo2 too...

I am coming from an Integra though which is notorious for its cabin noise.

The TSX AT trans is not the same as that of a 6th gen Accord. It is much, much better.

My mom used to drive a Celica GTS VVTLi 6sp Manual with TRD bodykit + TRD carseat for her grandson. Same situtation! my brother bought that car for my mom(of course with my mom's money). Now my mom is driving a 330Ci ZHP 6sp..... same reason!

I'm on the highway 2hrs per day in it, so to me it gets kinds loud.

why doesn't your mom want a G35 coupe instead of a 350z?

It's probably your tires that are making it loud. They are crappy all seasons.
