TSX- How do you rate the interior quality?
Having just recently purchased a new TSX fully loaded, I wanna know in general what "you" other TSX owners think of the interior assembly and quality and have any of you owners noticed "glitches" or "imperfections in the interior?
Just as a side bar, my TSX is very well assembled and I have driven it in the winter and joints are not squeeking..lets hope it never does!

I think the interior of the car is stunning. I have a 05 Navi 6spd car with ebony interior and I think the interior is the best part of the car. My uncle works for GM and gets a new car every 60 days. Right now it he has a $60,000 2005 STS, while the car has some extra cool features, I don't think the quality or apperance is any better then my car (at half the price!). I was offered to buy any GM vehical (including Saab) at employee prices and I still bought the acura. The car is a bargin!

The TSX by itself is very nice, but I don't think you notice the quality until you step into another car.
Similar priced cars don't come close, you'd have to get into a $40,000+ BMW, Audi or MB to find better.

After riding in my friend's 325xi, I think the TSX interior is of a much nicer quality. Not only does it look classy, but it feels solid. The interior to the 325xi is extremely plain and looks cheaper... not as many lit buttons, that nasty orange color, etc. Made me appreciate my TSX more, that's for sure.

The TSX interior (like most Honda interiors) is incredible. The quality of materials is first rate and the buttons all feel solid and expensive. There are loads of nice little touches too such as the chrome accents on the vents and the blue ambient lighting everywhere. I love the instrument cluster (the best on the market to my eyes) and the nav screen is huger compared to other "luxury" marques. Honda always pays attention to the little things. Take the grab handles above the doors for example. If you pull them down and release them, they softly return to their raised positions instead of springing back. The little things are so important. That being said, they really should do something about that damn creaking noise!

I couldn't say no to this car after I sat in there and let things sink in.
It's gorgeous.
But then again, now I have a little doubt about the interior material being "great quality" - i.e I dragged my feet (wearing leather shoes) across the door panel and ka-bang - there is a scratch on the shiny plastic side pocket.
I have feeling that to keep TSX looking good one has to be really extra careful and give constant protectant/treatment.

One of the reasons why I got the car. Interior is very understated, ergonomically laid out so the controls are obvious and they are where you need them. I think the dash is suberb for direct provision of information. When I first got in the car, I thought that I must be missing some controls - the simplicity of layout was so clean and direct.
I have the fake titanium vs the fake wood, both have their proponents, but it was nice to see an upscale manufacturer tackle an upscale interior without automatically retreating to fake burl walnut all over the place.
Newcomers to the car always comment on the interior.

The materials are of good quality. The fit and finish are of high quality. But what makes me smile the most is the superb blend of form and function in the design (which makes sense since I'm a user interface designer).

I had a BMW 330 vert...... man i didnt really like my interior.... too many buttons all cluttered up, the ugly orange (so they say its easeier on the eyes). I drove an older SL600 (not the current one) last year for a while and that interior was crap!
The TSX interior is very clean, enough buttons that are useful and placed well. It is a well-made interior. The dash illuminates really nicely and really stands out as high-end like.

Last Oct. when I was looking to purchase a new car, I wasn't even thinking of purchasing the TSX. I was set on buying the Accord 2d coupe EXV6. But one night, I was driving and passed an Acura dealership. I just wanted to look at the cars. I saw an ABP TSX in the showroom. I thought it was a good looking car on the outside. But then I went inside it and I was just amazed at how impressive the ebony interior looked. Far better than the accord which had the typical Honda interior look on the dash. After test driving it, I was hooked and it didn't matter that I was giving up the V6 for this car had plenty of power. Once my CG came in the following week, I bought it. To date 2-9-05 with 5100 mi. I'm still amazed at the car. The interior is supeb. You get the best combination of function, luxury and simplicity all rolled into one. Just a great car all around. By the way, never had any rattles thus far.

I'm clearly biased, but yes the interior was easily what sold me on the car. The outside is understated yet subtly sporty. But of course, we spend 95% of our time with the car on the inside, so a great interior is a big factor. I agree with everyone's assessments - a gauge cluster that's unparalleled in any car I've seen; superb ergonomics; very good to excellent fit/finish; and look at the dash - a single piece, not cobbled together like so many other cars.

Now since I got it, everyone in the fraternity wants to ride with me everywhere we go. Also it is a huge hit with the ladies on campus. This one girl last night told me that she wanted to go for a ride with me, I was like but you went riding with me last week when I got it and she said well I want to go for a longer ride.
I have gotten so many compliments with this car as opposed to the Touareg. Everyone LOVES the interior. My favorite thing is to turn the instrument cluster to extremely bright at night. Other people will just look over and stare!

I like almost every interior that Honda has...except for the civic and rsx and my old integra. But then, they look better than most cars out there. BTW, Honda is known for the flawless design of their interior (dash).

When I bought my TSX i didn't know shit about performance, handling, etc. i didn't even know what "twisties" meant. I was 100% sold on the interior. Everything else since then has been gravy, delicious mouthwatering gravy.
The TSX has made me an enthusiast.

I share the enthusiasm for the cabin, which is ergonomic and tasteful. My favorite feature - dual climate control.
Some items I noticed on the picky side:
1) The protruding mirror-adjusting knobs seem flimsy and likely to be accidently smashed, unlike the ultra-sturdy flat style mirror controllers in RSX.
2) While the back seats fold down, which is great, the passage to the trunk is severly constricted by a weird flimsy divider that considerabely limits what kind of cargo you can put there. No comparison with the full-width opening in RSX or Integra.
3) Now I am really picky (may be not) - when you look into the trunk and up - you'll see the exposed unprotected backs of the rear speakers. Looks very cheap.

It definitely looks one of the best in the class, although I think they could've used thicker door panels...... The stuff in the center (the material on the covers of the storage compartments) gets scratched pretty easily, I put a small, empty carboard box on it (stupid me) and it got sractched....
besides that....it's greeeaat
