Thanks for taking the time to post up the picture. Looks good

Do you know what part of the car the hitch is welded to?

Sorry for my lack of terms to use, but the guy welded the rectangular tube trough the hook that is under the car. This hook is the one that they use to tie down the car when transporting it - so I was told. The tube does not stop at the hook but continues well beyond to to have it more securely fasten. I hope this helps.

Thanks for posting the photos and info. A couple more questions before I call the welder. What year is your TSX? It looks like you have installed ground effects or a skirt on the car...can you confirm? If so, it appears that the receiver may have a more substantial vertical gap to the bumper on a car without the skirt. Did it appear as if the welder constructed the hitch to custom set the height? Also, you posted a cost of $260 which I assume is Canadian...can you confirm?

Year of car is a 2006 with the full aero kit. The welder did customize the hitch to fit perfectly good with the car. You can ask him to set the height lower or higher if you want. He works while you wait so that gives you all the opportunity to have him make it just the way you want him to make it.

And it was in Canadian dollars.

Has anyone installed a hitch on their TSX in the Calgary area? If so, any recommendations on where to get it done?
