Hey gang,

I have another quick question for you...

I am looking to bolt down a fiberglass enclosure that I built to fit in the each side pocket area of our trunk but am unsure where our gas tank is located.

The box is contoured to follow the trunk pockets up to the metal tiedowns. Is it safe to drill/screw in these areas??

It is between the rear wheels. Just scoot underneath and it's easily visible.

Gas tank is centered under the very front of the trunk/rear seat area. It's centered just in front of the rear wheels. Any action in the trunk from the spare tire pocket forward is generally not going to impact the fuel tank...your mileage may vary, I'm not an expert, take two aspirin.... If you are talking about the two sides if the trunk behind and above the rear tires, no fuel tank issues, just don't drill blindly if possible. There are a number of components and wires and such run in these areas (such as the XM receiver).
