Think "trip computer".

Was his name "Chappie" by any chance? Don't worry if you don't get it, some of you maybe too young to remember.

DBW sucks, especially when coupled with the 5AT. Instead of 1 thing trying to understand what you are thinking (DBW) you have 2 things (DBW + "learning" transmission). Throttle and tranny responses are still pretty good overall, but not as immediate as I would like. I appreciate my manual Integra w/o DBW much more now.

I'd keep everything else - moonroof, cruise, heated parts, etc. These are part of the reason why the TSX is such a good value. However, Acura should make a TSX CSL or something for those who don't want this stuff though - I could see how some want a more focused no frills sports sedan, without having to go WRX or Evo.

^^ But I thought the DBW was supposed to work with the 5AT more seemlessly than without DBW.

Depends on your definition of seemless, I guess. From my perspective, sometimes it feels like it over interprets what I want to do and it does alot of gear hunting sometimes. Not fun when your about to pass, push down on the accelerator, let off the tiniest of fractions so you won't hit the car in front of you, and then it thinks you want to go into economy mode and upshifts. Power gone, wait for the next hole in traffic. At that point, Ive learned to take over shifting.

Well, I know that every Hyundai has cruise control, but it's a $2500 option in the Canadian BMW 323i, so it must be the most valuable.

I'd really like to get rid of the auto-dimming rearview mirror. It's too dark even when it's disabled.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned, but I really don't use the Voice Recognition Funtionality at all. I feel it takes longer than me just reaching over to my controls. All the other ones that are listed are a necessity to me.

The first one was ok, the second was "meh", and the third just sucked.

I voted heated mirrors.. The only time they come in handy is during a ice storm. Yah sure I guess they can get fogged up but that's just lazy not to do a quick hand wipe. I just hate having to scrape ice off of the mirrors. I always fear applying to much pressure or scraping the housing.

I love all of these features! That's a big part of why I bought a TSX -- for all of the goodies and toys.

Maybe it's because I've only had my TSX for a few weeks, but I wouldn't get rid of any of them. I guess I'm still in my "honeymoon period" where I love everything about the car!

I guess DBW is just a matter of preference, because I think it feels really nice.

About the only feature in the car that made me say "Huh?" was the window lock in the '04. Not sure if '05s or '06s do this, but when you depress the window lock, the backlighting on the other three window switches goes off. Pretty interesting that the car does it...but it doesn't seem to be very useful to me.

I say Drive By Wire because it has slowed down the development of aftermarket parts.

Yeah, who knows when the Hondata will come out for '05 and '06s. I doubt I'll ever get F.I., but I suppose there are a lot of owners who would if it was available in '05/'06s.

Moonroof is nice...i dont use it a ton though
Heated mirrors...never had a need, i park in a garage at home as well as work
Heated seats...use them quite a bit and the only reason my lady likes my car
VSA...it seems useful, its kicked in a few times in the snow
DBW....not really a fan, seems to hinder more than help
well if you cruise at a reasonable speed, you wouldnt get a ticker!

i think automatic is the most useless feature! i think if everyone drove manuals, they'd be more alert, and much fewer accidents. i'm not being sarcastic either.

A quick hand wipe still leaves water drops over the mirror. With the heat, that gets cleared, too.
