Tsx-eye catching car?

Probably since our cars aren't common like the Accords, I notice when I drive the Tsx, other people driving the opposite way, when you're at a stoplight, or when they drive past you, the car sometimes gets stares from others. That's why I like our Tsx, that or unless I'm a handsome guy, which probably isn't the case :P .

I agree. I have not seen one in my area yet and I live in Los Angeles. People do double look at the car. I am hoping that it will not be as common as the Accord.

I had three 16 year-olds in a Neon pace me for about 10 minutes looking at my car last night. Good for the ol' ego, if nothing else

By the same token, I almost crashed eyeballing a new TL last week.

I've noticed some people appearing to pace me. The only one that I distinctly recall was a very ricey VW sedan. (Ja, some people try to make rice from sauerkraut.) I know that he paced me to observe my car because he was speeding mightily in the fast lane behind me--I was in the next lane over--whereupon he suddenly slowed down in my blind spot for a minute or so, and then sped off. (He was easily doing >90.) This was on the San Mateo-Hayward bridge, highway 92, and traffic was very light.

Actually it's been more than 4 pacers. Some Accord, Integra, Mazda, and BMW drivers have appeared to have paced me too, but not so obvious as the ricey-sauerkraut VW car driver.

Considering that Honda sold 414,718 Accords in 2001, there's no way the TSX will ever become as common due to the fact that only 15,000 TSXs will be sold per year.

Even if Acura bumps up availability to 20-25k, that still makes for about 400,000 more Accords sold.

That's one of the main reasons why I chose the TSX over the A4, G35, 3 series etc. - It's much more exclusive which will help maintain its value and resale figures should be strong for the TSX.

Here in South Florida, I have to really be on the lookout to spot a TSX - it's awesome!
