TSX Discontinued??

Well at least that is what I was told when i went to go look for stereo parts for my car. the guy told me he that after he went to ask his distributor guy if he could get a kit of my car. he cam back and told me he had some good news and some bad news... good news was that my car is now a collectors item cause acura was going to stop making them this year... the bad news being that he couldnt find me a dash kit for it... where do people get this crap from... anyhow i thought this might be good for a laugh

they probably couldnt find the TSX in their system since it's still too new so they probably thought it was discontinued

I hope it does get discontinued! That would be great news.

Yeah, then we could all abandon this site!

I heard Acura loves what Acura Canada is doing with the EL, so they're going to make *that* model their luxury sport sedan....but they're going to have it with the Civic 115HP SOHC inline 4, and it'll have 13" steel wheels with exclusive chromed plastic covers, as well as vinyl interior seating. The kickin' stereo will be a 5W AM tuner with an awesome 2 speaker surround sound setup. Available Transmissions: 3 speed Hondamatic, or for the enthusiasts, a 3 speed slick shifting manual transmission.

Whee. I'm finished for the day.

Understandable mistake, confusing a "C" and an "L" with those pesky letters towards the end... it's got to be difficult when you haven't yet mastered the alphabet.

I think he is implying that the guy was getting confused with the real discontinued car ... the CL.

I think that SJHCL was referring to the discontinued CL, that perhaps the "stereo parts guy" confused that with TSX, and it would help if the stereo parts guy would learn his alphabet.

Afterall, that T does resemble the L if one's eyes are spinning or one is reading upside-down. And the S does look like a couple of C's facing opposite directions--just like countless politicians. Our Latin alphabet is awful, eh?

Makes no sense that they would discontinue it. They found the formula for an entry level lux car: It doesn't do much great but does everything really well, at a good price with great quality and reliability. The TSX will make in-roads into the lower-end Euro-lux market, arguably with more success than the IS300.

And no one has the TSX in thier database yet that i have seen.
Best buy didnt have it in thiers 2 months ago either.
He had to call clifford direct to inquire about the TSX and they told him it was exactly like the 4 door accord 03.
Dickise check out the audio forum some guys here have Awesome DIY's with pics. And im sure it will have more coming soon.
I will post pics of my install this winter im too busy catching up with bills, but once i get my income tax and 401K im buying all my parts and getting to work =0).
