TSX comparo on DW TV
Hi All,
I have recorded a 3-way shootout with the Euro Accord, Mazda 6, and Toyota Aventis (?) on a German news/information program. Was anyone interested in seeing it? It's in English and is about 5.5 minutes long (30 megs). I don't have a site or location to host it but would gladly share/upload/send it somewhere for people to watch (any anonymous public ftp sites?).
BTW, the review was quite favorable!

Hello, brbrice! Sounds great -- I'm pretty sure someone will take you up on it, if you can wait a few hours until everyone wakes up! (Just a few of us hanging out right now -- it's possible that nobody on here right now would be able to do it.)
BTW are you in Germany, or do you just have a great satellite TV plan?

Actually I'm in the Bay Area (California) and during the wee hours of the mornings we get DW TV on one of the local stations (antenna). I have no idea why they show a German news program here but they do! hehe I just happened to be up (insomniac) and saw they were going to do a review on the Euro Accord and thought it would be good to record and that others might want to see it.

Auto Motor und Sport tell never the truth
Hi i am Swiss and just want to tell you that Auto Motor und Sport is a German Car Magazine and they have also a Tv show every Sunday.
I read & watch regulary their comparisons and they never tell the truth. Wenn they test a japanese car they try to find every disadvantage and write it down but on german cars they only tell the advantages of th german cars.
We think that this magzine belongs to the Volkswagen group who owns also AUDI, SKODA, PORSCHE and SEAT

Well, I have the file but I haven't uploaded it yet as it's at home and I'm at work. I've also got to find a place to upload it. I had a site, but the password has been changed to my account, and that causes some problems when you try to connect via FTP. I'll find something though.

Also, in previous reviews of Japanese makes, they have emphasized the use of "Asian" to describe the cars. They also intermixed Asian themes by showing a nice Japanese Nissan or Lexus with an unsightly Korean Hyundai cargo container in the background. Funny that they don't show the latest and greatest VW, BMW, Mercedes, or Audi with Hyundai cargo containers in the background.

By the way, the Toyota is the Toyota AVENSIS (not aventis) and it isn't a rebadged corolla. It's a luxurious toyota, about the size of the TSX and is designed in Belgium and built in England to compete with European Honda Accord, VW Passat, Opel Vectra, and Ford Mondeo (among others).
