Hi guys,

I got my 2004 TXS (no-navi) three weeks ago but I didn't find how to set the trip computer to show me the fuel consumption and mileage up to empty. Could you help me please?

The 2004 non-navi doesn't have a fuel computer to show consumption figures or distance to empty.

 

 

Are you serious? I can not believe it.... and they call that a luxury car.... even nissan altima has a trip computer.

 

It has a trip computer. Hold in the little nob to the left of it to reset it.

What it doesn't tell you is how many miles left till empty. Trip computer and something telling you miles left till empty are two different things....

 

Essential information:
* The fuel tank holds 17.1 gal.
* The fuel light comes on with roughly 3.5gal left in the tank.
* Highway mileage is approx. 32mpg
* City mileage is approx. 23mpg
* Combined mileage is approx. 26mpg.

You do the math.

 

miles remaining is only a 2006/beyond feature or navi feature. luckily for you, they're not that accurate...
