Transmission Poll 6MT or 5AT
Just curious as to what the ratio is for members on this board. It is like < 5% 6MT according to what my dealer orders and customers buy. It seems as though the 6MT would have a higher ratio for the added performance you get?

I'm certain that AcuraZine members will have a greater percentage of 6MT users than you would see in the general population, but 5AT will still come out on top in this poll.

i have a AT but i wish i had a MT. so i voted for MT.

MT.

Although some AT cars are outstanding. Like the 05 Maxima I test drove, seamless shifts and power.

I've got an AT because traffic is horrendous in Atlanta. But... in a sense... if i had to repurchase... i think i would've gone with the MT.

5% seems a bit low; I think it's approximately 10% of the TSXs manufactured are 6MT. The ratio will be skewed on this suvey, as there are many 6MT drivers here on this forum.
