I didn;t wait 6 minutes!!
No reason to wait, and many people do a complete exterior detail to remove the DIS (Dealer Installed Swirls).
Do a wash, clay, light polish if neded, wax/sealant. No reason to wait.
The only time you have to wait is if you just had a RE-paint, then the paint has to cure. Factory paint is already cured.

Actually, I'm pretty sure you do need to wait 6 months, and that's not only waxing but wash and wax also. I learned this from a close friend who worked at the a Toyota plant's paint department (the plant in Fremont, CA that makes the Tacomas and Corollas).

The G35 is a great car....too bad my was totalled in an accident. Now I decided to get a TSX mainly b/c it's better on gas.
But power and torque wise, the TSX is not as even close...it's a different car (there's no replacing rear wheel drive)
I was thinking of getting the BMW 330xi but they are less reliable then hondas...but great ride
