Did the side airbags go off?
I can see someone with a lot of time on their hand rebuilding it. With a direct perpendicular hit like that the chassis might still be straight and might just need a lot of body work. The drive train is probably OK.

Just curious. Does anyone have an educated guess as to how the Nav system and various computers on board should hold up under that kind of impact?

I'd venture to guess all of that stuff should be fine - unless it was under sheet metal at the impact point.

Not all airbags will go off on all impacts. Only the ones that will help will go off, otherwise you end up doing more harm that good.
The impact was clearly a side impact, and you can see on one of the pics the side curtain airbags were deployed. You can't see them but I bet the side airbags also came out.
On a side impact, a bag of air coming out at over 100mph and hitting you in the face will not only be totally useless, it may cause injuries that you can avoid by not deploying the front airbags.

I'm curious what a salvaged title means? Does that mean any car in an accident is salvaged?

It typically means that an insurance company declared it a loss and someone bought the car and is planning to re-register it at some point.

i think it'd be a waste of money to rebuild that. as you can see in the pics thoguh the curtain airbags did go off.
