Total number of changes between 2004 and 2005 TSX

Hey guys. My understanding is that the following were the changes between the 2004 and 2005 North American TSXs. Feel free to correct me or add any others.

The 2005 TSX had the following additions from the 2004 model:

1) Power passenger front seat

2) Heated outside mirrors

3) Satellite radio with the accompaning little plastic buble antenna on the roof.

4) The addition of black ebony interior with the Milano Red.

5) Seat belt chime. This rings if you are driving the car and your seat belt is not buckled. I don't think that the 2004 had this. 2004 owners please confirm this.

6) Differences in advertised fuel mileage for the manual and automatic TSXs

7) Blue light instead of green light where you insert the key to start the car. I am not sure of this but I think the color of this light actually changed during the 2004 model year. THe early 2004 owners had the green light and later 2004 owners had a blue light???

Thanks for all input.

Carlos

My Friend has the same exact car as me I have a 2004 and he has a 2005 both nighthawk black and ebony interior with Navi. It's pretty much the same, but all the things mentioned above also the buttons on the steering wheel that control mode and volume are black on the 2005's and silver on the 2004's...

2) Already was standard with 2004 models

3) Still not available in

7) The change was done during 2004 models

8) Navi available as option for models in 2005

9) Lighted steering wheel controls available 2005

10) 2005 ECU different; Hondata can't reflash

11) Extra 10lb-ft/14hp available when disabling VSA no longer available on 2005 models.

Dunno what else.

There's more subtle changes than I realised.

I was only aware of the first 3.

Due to those first 3 I knew I wanted a new 2005 over a used 2004.

The VSA off Hp Gain: Is it no longer available on the 2005 or is it always 14 HP faster, even when you have the VSA is on?

On 2005 models, when locking doors with the remote, there is a chirp/beep instead of the horn honking on the 2004 model.

Story:

So, I drove my TSX around one night and my good friend told be that the VSA usually takes away a lot of horse and that taking it off would reaelly help. I took his advice and turned it off and I could feel the extra power so I was pretty happy. The next day I called my friend with a TSX and told about the VSA thing and he told me later that night that he could really notice the difference and it was way faster! He has an 05' so apparently that isn't possible. It only works on my car.... (hahahahahaha!)

Well the VSA can cut the power down if some wheels are slipping. But disabling it won't actually add some output.

I don't know what's funnier actually: The fact that he believed such crap, or that he didn't notice the bunch of posts giving away the idea that it was a joke.

That's the truth. I had to get ebony so pwp was out for me. Wish I had the option.

Also, 2005 has illuminated radio buttons on the wheel.
