I picked it because it was the only color I could get immediately, besides black.

And, once I got it, I realized what a great color it is. No regrets -- fantastic!

I got it because it is not a regular color, it is something a little different. Everybody seems to have silver, black is too hot, red and white only came with parchment, and MSM is too much of a baby blue. That left CG, and once I saw it in person, I loved it, thus I bought it.

Every car usually has 1 or 2 colors that it looks best in. IMO Carbon Gray is the sharpest color for the TSX. I think it looks very nice in Silver and Black as well, but the Carbon is just a touch more unique and therefore catches my attention.

I am biased though, because I do not like any 4 door cars in red or blue, never will and I think white looks like a bathtub on wheels. The MS is just a little too baby blue for my taste too, just personal preference...

CG was my second choice and I saw my first one on the road a couple of weeks ago. It's a sweet color and had they had one with ebony previously, I'd be drivin one of those. I've only seen 2 TSX's in my area so far. IMO the TSX is so rare at this point that any color is gonna be a head turner.

On "the other site" I asked for theories about why a lot of people can't stand white cars. This one is as good as any of them.

Actually I love the PWP. I do wish it was a true white though. If it came with Ebony I'd have had 3 choices.

Don't feel bad. The real bathtub designs are the '94-97 Accords with those rounded humps on the side rear and that squat front end. Imagine one of those in white!

Nice cars they are under the sheet metal, though!

If CG was available in Canada, then there would be even more CG owners.
Luckily we have the Pearl White with the ebony interior

One dealer told me that that Carbon Grey and Satin Silver are the two most popular colors for the TSX. (There's a third-place color, but I forgot what that is.)

What else could it mean for most TSX customers but that those are the most attractive colors for the TSX? There are several other "prettier" colors, but at least for myself, I prefer understated color and design.

CGP is only good when it's clean, but SSM is just great at almost all time. Yes, even when it's dirty.

Initially I wanted the Indigo blue, but the U.S. doesnt sell that color, so the next best dark color was the CG. The CG does look pretty damn good clean or dirty

I think the TSX would look really good with RSX's Desert Silver Metallic exterior & Titanium Leather interior.

Also, it's too bad that the CGP exterior is not available in Canada (nor the Quartz interior).

And let's not forget that you have that stunning Indigo too, something that we Yanks don't have for the TSX.

For me it was the interior that led to choosing CG. I wanted a quartz interior. Period. That leaves me with MSM which is a very nice color but not really for me and SSM which is "just" silver. The CG seemed different enough to make it stand out (but not anymore now that everyone has it :P). Plus cars with dark exterior/light interior look :tits:!

I picked CG by process of elimination.

-Red: my last car was red. Needed a change.
-Black: too hot for SoFla, shows flaws and dirt.
-Silver: too common in other models.
-Blue: attractive but too "boy racer" looking for a car this refined.
-Meteor Silver: wasn't available with Ebony interior.
-White: maybe if I'd saw how beautiful it was in person.

Leaving: Carbon Gray. I couldn't be happier.
