I was looking into getting new tips for my car, I really liked how the TL-S tips looked but wasn't sure where to get them or if they would even fit on an '06 tsx. If not are there any cool looking tips that anyone has done here?

 

Not sure if the TL-S tips will, I don't think so but could be wrong. Most ppl swap from the stock to ASPEC tips which are the same but are seated a bit further out for lip kits. Most others I see swap to either the Civic SI or S2K exhaust tips which are direct swaps, the oval tips.

 

Do you have any pictures so I could compare and maybe see which one to get?

 

This is the S2K tip which is the same as the SI pretty much. I think it looks nice on the TSX but needs a lipkit to look right. I like our OEM tips personally, esp if you don't have a lip kit. The S2K tips look out of place with no kit imo, but still looks nice.

 

^Were you able to really get your tips that flush? Assuming the jack is there to make it look flush

Oh, it's not my car. I just googled S2K tips. Not sure whose car it is but it was a general pic I found regarding the tips. I still have the OEM tips on my car.

 

Thanks for your responses guys. I really like the S2k's but I was looking for more of a dual tip for each side, or one that's cut at a slant. Got a bunch of jokers downtown with coffee cans attached to their civics so something that looks somewhat sporty if that makes any sense.

 

So you want quad exhausts basically, like the ISF? Faux quad isn't good imo...like the ISF lol. I would keep it stock then because there is no need to compete with POS Civics man. Just get a nice aftermarket exhaust instead of fake tips.

Haha yea actually exactly like the isf, maybe not stacked though just single. My friend just got an isf and its pretty sick.

 

I wouldn't do that..you've got a i4 at the end of the day, quad tips on a tsx would not work in my opinion.

I have the AP2 tips off an s2k with aspec lip kit..i love the look

 

i love the s2k tips, anyone have pics of them on a stock lip? and personally i dont think quad tips would look good on the tsx

 

Yea I started to have my doubts on quad tips.. I've been trying to avoid getting a body kit for the time being cause I haven't found one I really love yet, same thing with other tips for my car : /
