TL MT Shift Knob

Has anyone tried swaping a 04-07 tl/ tl-s shift knob on to our car? I'm kind of getting tired of my small ass shift knob. I have been looking around, and I think the tl one would look good.
I haven't check the dealers yet, but any clue how much they run for? I tried to search it on acuraoemparts.com but couldn't find it.

thanks,

I think it'll fit fine, BUT, I also know that on the TL it uses this little black clip thing to fill up the space between the boot and the knob itself. If you installed it on the TSX, I'm not sure if the diamater of the bottom of the knob is bigger or smaller than the diamater of our shift boot's top ring (if that makes sense) so it might look funny.

As always, I'm going to chime in to recommend the Maven Mark 1 knob - it's a bit bigger than the OEM, but the weight more than makes up for any size you may find it lacking. Plus it looks sexy.

The stock knob is way too small and light, my friend gave me a Circuit Hero SS knob for Christmas and it's so much better (and like 4x heavier).

You should check where it was before hand. NOW it's in TSX Discussion. Before, was in Performance Parts Section.

I guess, and I'm not a big fan of Maven Mark knob.

I'm still going to mod my car until I sell my car, not too much though.

Thumbs up

^^ Hey Tony, I have the 07 TL Type-S Shift Knob 5AT and it fits our TSX.

It has Black leather and carbon fiber on it (finally)!
