Tire talk. What tire did you put on your ride?
Hey guys,
I put on Pirelli P Zero Nero 225/45/17 Summer tires on my car since I got it. The car has about 7.8K miles on it, and after numerous autocross event I went to, the tires are almost gone. Time to shop for tires, but...
Pirelli stopped making 225/45/17 for P Zero Nero!!!
So...here I go again, doing research for a new set of high performance tires. Some questions:
What tire did you put on your TSX? What size is it?
How's the performace? Did you evaluate it by day to day driving or track time?
For the gurus out there, I heard someone saying some tires are just more 'compatible' with certain cars. How would you know which one are more compatible?
Thanks for the help guys and gals.

AutoX'd in my stock Michelins today and they melted big time, 2nd time I've been on them.
Also looking for 225/45/17 summer tires or 225/45/18 if I get new wheels.
Someone suggest Falken Azenis for AutoX, but I'm looking for something that is more of a comprimise for a daily driving tire as well. There's so many variables. I'm looking for
1) good grip
2) quiet ride
3) good treadwear
In that order. So I'm interested in what you find too.

I guess it's personal... I'd only go with Michelin Pilot Sport. Honda Netherlands is supplying them in a set with very nice 17" rims (225/45ZR17). I've had Pirelli P7000's on my CRX, nice tyre, but wear was terrible... I personally wouldn't go with anything else than Michelin Pilot Sport...
