Tinting a TSX

Hi everyone

I'm looking for a reliable tinting place in Los Angeles. Anybody know of a good place to get my TSX tinted?

What are peoples thoughts on the felt liners so it doesn't scratch the tint. Do you really need it?

Anyone used Ceramic tint or Formula One Pinnacle tint? Apparently you don't need the felt if you use this type of tint. Any thoughts?

Thx

I got Formula One Pinnacle. Check www.formulaone.com for dealers near you. I opted for the felt liner, time is money and I dont want to have to deal with getting tint more than once.

Did you find a good place to have your windows tinted in LA? I'm looking to do the same.

Yep I did find a good place. It's called A-Pro Glass Tinting in Santa Monica/West L.A. area. On Santa Monica Blvd not far from Barrington (as a cross street). It's a tiny little shop but I was happy with the job they did.

I got ceramic tint (which is expensive) and went for the formula one brand and pinnacle series. You choose your darkness or lightness of the tint. The entire job for all 4 windows with 4 felts (just for peace of mind) installed including tax was $570. It's really expensive (and I know it was) but I was happy to pay for a good installation and a high quality tint. No prob's what-so-ever with my navigation, bluetooth, xm or fm signals. I don't use am radio but it shouldn't be a problem.

Allow 2-4 days before rolling down windows and at least 2 weeks before washing your car at one of those wash places where they spray the inside of your windows to clean it. Just a recommended safe precaution to take, so the tint can set properly without you having any problems.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
