Tinting Process
no trim or panels should have to be taken out for tinting. the film is placed over the window and cut to a rough size. from there it will be cut again to the appropriate size. just about anyone can do it. the rear window can be kind of a pain in the ass though.
i suppose if you're really anal about it and you want the the film to go under the trim, you can remove the windows (except for the rear window maybe).
