I found a tint shop online near the northside, however they never heard of moleskin so I was leary of letting them do the job?
They also had not yet done a TSX, bad omin if you ask me.
I'd love to find a good shop, maybe we could all get in on a group deal

it's call ziebart, you can look at the yahoo yellow pages and call them up. how far north do you live? i'm not sure if they have a location though in Lake County. they do good work, my friends came out with just one very small bubble after 1 yr.

There's plenty of tint places in Chicagoland. Tint is legal for any windows behind the drivers' seat. Shit, you could have your rear windows painted if you want. Cops love to tell you that any tint is illegal, but whenever i went to court for it, I'd show the judge a picture of my CRX that only had tints from the rear seats and back, and he'd throw the ticket out.
I had my CRX's tint done at some Mexican place on the southside about 9 years ago because my friend knew them. Never had any moleskin put in (actually i've never heard of moleskin before i got on this forum) and never had a problem with scratches.
Here's a pic after i removed the tint from the door's windows, but you can kind of see how dark the quarterglass tint is.

I like the CR-X it has a theme and it's not over the top and the mods and engine swap make practical sense. You didn't build some non-daily driver 17:1 compresion B-series LS-vtec 3psi turbo show motor.
I like that car very much....kind of reminds me of my Accord
I'm scared to drive my Accord in IL, it has 35% front windows and 20% rear it was illegal in OH, but you could have front windows tinted 50% in Ohio, out here I'm blantantly illegal. My only hope for this summer is that I have Ohio plates but that could cause more trouble too....

Not likely unless my car drives herself around when I'm not home. j/k!!!
I haven't driven her since last Fall. Since summer's here, and the girlfriend's out of town, I think it's time to clean her up and take her for a nice long drive!
Oh, Mr. Chad: You should probably only be scared to drive your car in the suburbs here. Most Chicago cops have actual crime to tend to. Just kind of depends where you drive, I guess.

I love this chicago-land chat... I haven't seen any tricked out TSX's really, I've seen an OEM kit or spoiler, but not really anything notable. What mods do you chicago guys have... From the looks of it (NONE), but whatever... We should schedule a Chicago-Land meet sometime...

JayR and Dcoke we should meet up for a bit sometime.
I haven't driven my Accord since bringing it back to IL from Ohio earlier this year it lives in the garage under a layer of dust now.
I do infact live in the burbs of Plainfield-Shorewood area way south of the city.
Naperville-Romeoville is North for me
I really should take the Accord downtown for some pics though, I think the L-line trusses from the Loop would make a perfect photo.
Our TSX is very much stock, It's actually nice having a stock Honda, there is a large deal of grief that comes from owning a slammed ride on 18's. Not that I'd ever change the car back, but I've had the car for 6 yrs. and it's been like this for 5yrs. now. I'm not sure I could ever have the patients to do this again. I've always had a 2nd car since the Accord would be at a shop here and there getting things done. Now that I have a company car this thing really just sits.
