Tint Inspection Issues?
Tint Inspection Issues?
Hey guys,
I was just curious as to how easy/hard it is to find a place that will pass you for tinted windows. I live in PA, and we have the ridiculous 70% law, and i got 35% but i was just curious if anyone has had any huge issues with it in PA or any other state for that matter!
Any Philadelphian's know of any place that passes ya no problem?

Still need to find a place to get it inspected though....
I live in Michigan and it's no tint on the front windows (well a 4" strip) and whatever on the back.
I've been pulled over twice for window tint now, but all is good because I have a DR's excuse. Says, "Patient has light sensitivity, suggest window tint".
Done deal.

Unrelated, but while i was double checking the tinting regulations for california I was on the chp faqs site and found this gem:
I have heard that some gangs are initiating new members by driving with their headlights off and when people flash their lights at them, they must shoot the drivers of the cars who do this. Is this true?
The California Highway Patrol has received many inquiries from people who have seen this message on the Internet. The simple answer is, it is not true. Of course, as a law enforcement agency we would caution people not to do anything in their vehicles which could anger or upset other drivers. But to our knowledge, nothing of this sort has taken place.
The San Fernando Valley Folklore Society and other organizations track urban myths, and attempt to explain their origins.
