Hey guys,

I was just curious as to how easy/hard it is to find a place that will pass you for tinted windows. I live in PA, and we have the ridiculous 70% law, and i got 35% but i was just curious if anyone has had any huge issues with it in PA or any other state for that matter!

Any Philadelphian's know of any place that passes ya no problem?

 

one of my friend lives in Exton PA. She's got the 35% all round for the past 2 yrs. I guess u will be fine.

 

Anyone know whats the Nj/Ny Law? 70% as well?

 

does anyone know where to get a tint around the philly regoin? any estimated prices?

 

in NJ its no tints up front and any% in the rear, NY i believe is 70% up front, and 35% in the back and the top 6" of the windshield

 

i got mine for 400 bucks flat but that included moleskin and a lifetime warranty....220 without moleskin at a place in Pendell called Smokin' Moes!! He's a got a website so you can type it into google!

Still need to find a place to get it inspected though....

 

I live in Michigan and it's no tint on the front windows (well a 4" strip) and whatever on the back.
I've been pulled over twice for window tint now, but all is good because I have a DR's excuse. Says, "Patient has light sensitivity, suggest window tint".
Done deal.

 

hahaha....nice....did you just have your doctor write that for you, or do you really have that condition?

 

Unrelated, but while i was double checking the tinting regulations for california I was on the chp faqs site and found this gem:

The California Highway Patrol has received many inquiries from people who have seen this message on the Internet. The simple answer is, it is not true. NY may be ANY in the rear as well. Check with local law officials to be sure though.
