Hows it going, Im in the market for a new daily driver. I am currently driving a Focus and I have a blown 01 Mustang thats I save for weekends and nice weather. I drive a lot for work and am looking for something nice to drive daily, and Im tired of the Focus, so I am thinking about a TSX or TL. I like the TSX, but I have a few questions. Can I get an 04 TSX with touch screen Nav and bluetooth? I know the 04 TL has these options, and I know the TSX has Nav in 04, but Im just not sure if it has the same touch screen and blue tooth options as the TL. Any info is appreciated.

You can get an 04 TSX with NAVI (they are touch on TSX and TL all the way thru Current MY) but Bluetooth doesn't get added in TSX until '06. TL had it starting in 04.

Ah damn, that kinda sucks. For my job I have to be on the phone a lot while driving too that would be key. Im not sure if thats a deal breaker, but it definately makes me lean toward the TL. 06 TSX is probly more expensive than 04 TL.

u only get 2 options, navi or non-navi. Rest of the equpiment is standard. With navi's u get handsfree operations, such as "ac temperature 78 degrees" very cool.
As for bluetooth, i have an 06 and just might get myself a motorolla or a parrot device. Mainly because if you have a verizon phone, their voice commands are tons better than the one the acura's have. This is mainly due to the fact that they don't want voice interference with their devices.

Well my dad has an 05 STS with Navi and bluetooth, and being able to use the handsfree integrated with the touch screen is really nice.
Whats with the DVD option on TLs? Does the 06 TSX have this?
Drive them both first, if you haven't already. The test drive could sway you one way or the other. They're both nice cars with similar features, but drive a little differently.

That's probably the best advice you will get. Drive them both if you haven't already. They might look similar, but they are entirely different cars. The TSX feels like a part of you - you feel connected to the road, the car feels like it's ready to do whatever you want. In the TL you're riding - it feels much bigger and it's quite a bit roomier. I have an 04 TSX 6MT/Navi and although I love the navi, i had an 06 Non-Navi, and absolutely loved the bluetooth. That's why i'm installing the Parrot device when I have some time.
But really, the tech options are secondary concerns compared to which car you actually like best. Just go drive 'em both.
Doesn't Rice His Car
Straying from the "nitty gritties," I like how the TSX handles, but I like how the TL looks plus you get a bit more badge status (if that floats your boat). I think I would have gone with the TL myself, but it was out of my price range. (Technically, I should be driving a 06 Honda Accord right now, but splurged a bit)

If I could do it over again, I'd get a TL. A little more out of the pocket but its worth it. lol I just cant get over the cheap hollow doors on the TSX. This should be my new check list when lookin for a new car from now on ,shame shame !

The TSX is more fun to drive, better handling. The TL is smoother and roomier. If your working out of your car it sounds like the TL has what you need, Navi and BlueTooth. But if your concerned about the price, the TSX would be great with Navi and you can get an after market Bluetooth.

pssst - a little secret: for less than the price difference between the TSX and TL you can fix that "problem".Originally Posted by S power

Well right now its looking like I can get an 06 TSX with nav for 25k, probly less after negotiation.
04 TLs with nav, and a few more miles are going for the same price.

If that is possible, I am on the list on that since the only thing I hate on this car is the hollow doorTeam Owner
