Test Drive a 6MT?

I've been driving MT a long time, even learned to drive on one, and want to test drive the TSX with the 6MT. It seems that Acura is reluctant to delegate a 6MT for a demo, even found this when I got my son his RSX(bought MT,tested AT). The other cars I'm considering have all been available for test drives with MT. Anyone else have this same situation?

No. The demo TSX I drove was 6MT with 400 miles on it. Find another Acura dealer is what I'd do if I were in your shoes.

find a different Acura Stealership. I first test drove the TSX in 6MT, just to show my parents that I can drive the MT, but then, power over power, my parents said we needed an emergency car

But yeah, they should have MT Demo's to test drive. Go to a different dealership.

I guess searching for a dealer that has a 6MT demo is the best way, thanks.

the dealer was more than willing to let me drive a 6m because an auto was not even an option.

We went to two dealerships and one of them didn't allow us to test drive the car because it was the showroom car and it's the only MT tsx they have (an apec kit with spoiler and wind deflector, not sure about suspension.)

The other dealership I went to had two Tsx and were more than willing to let us test drive either.

i test drove the AT and bought an MT. they asked me when i did the test drive why i didn't test drive the MT if that's what i wanted to get, and i told them it was because i didn't know how to drive one yet. Once i got used to the MT, i had an AT loaner, and it was a completely different car! If you're considering the TSX in MT, don't judge how it drives by the AT

ya just go to a different dealer.... some dealers don't have the MT's in stock, or even have them as demo's just because the demographic of the people they serve doesn't buy many MT's so it's not worth their while i guess to have a demo on the lot that they'll have to loose a few g's on when they resell it...

out of the three dealerships i went to only one had a 6MT/Navi (which is what i ended up getting), the other had a 6MT/Non-Navi, and the other had a 5MT/Non-Navi (actually the sales-persons, he let me test drive his own car... now that's service )

Let us know what you decide. BTW - The TSX v Jetta GLI/A3 debates have been fought on this board before. Do a search for some good reading.
