swap keys with accord '04?
Yes, the integrated key/fob design is ugly and gigantic, but i really don't like how the current fob gets all scratched up. anyone know if it's possible? i know the accord key is laser-cut or whatever (unlike the TSX's,) and programming the chip in the key is costly, but has anyone done this?
Sorry if it's a stupid idea/question.

Considering that the stock key is $150 to have replaced I can only imagine that if the accord key can be recoded to work with the TSX it will be even more expensive.

Sorry, '03-up Accords use a "sidewinder" key blank. It's not interchangeable with the TSX key. The sidewinder locks on the later Honda's have had a fair number of wear problems from what I've seen working on them. I'm happy that my TSX has "old-fashioned" keys.

found the key...
But I guess it doesn't really help since the key type is different. I wonder if you can somehow just swap the tops of the keys? Maybe this is just a lost cause.

I like the design of the VW keys... the key pops out of the remote like a switchblade. A friend of mine who has a Golf really likes it, and it seems more compact.
But the coolest thing is on the Prius, when you walk next to the car is senses the key and unlocks the door. Then you press "Start" with the key still in your pocket.
