From what I've seen, pretty much if a shop has a tint that is guaranteed, the tint is probably of a good quality.

A particular brand I had installed before on my 4Runner was SunGuard and was done by this shop near Elkhorn Blvd, and Watt Avenue...I believe it's called AAA tinting. Anyway, they did a piss poor job and the tint started to peel, just never got a chance to go back there and have them fix it before i sold the 4Runner, this was like 4-5 years ago. It wasn't a result of the film itself, but rather the installation, not enough glue or something to that effect. Film though held up well I thought.

Anyway, I can recommend one shop safelty right now in the Sacramento Area, www.tintpros.com , just got my TSX done there and they do most of the tint jobs for the Roseville Auto Mall dealers. They are rather pricey as it cost me $185 for all rear windows, but it's worth it so far. The tint film they use is "SunTek" so that's probably what you mean.
