ill put pics up as soon as i get my panavise mount installed. until then, if anyone wants to know, all i did was take out the cubby drawer thing, install the splitter and icelink, and then routed the actual cradle mount through the opening underneath the passenger side footwell. theres a really convenient hole - this way when i get my panavise mount, i only have to attach the cradle.

question tho, for anyone who has done icelinks, my icelink chip device (the little rectangular heat-shrink wrapped thing) gets hot. people on these forums said it can get up to 105 degrees farenheit. is this too hot to have it just sitting behind the cubby, next to all the wires of the navi/radio?

Can someone explain the difference between the SNHOND3 adapter and the Icelink. I know they are both for connecting an ipod, but are they both neccesary or is one only one needed to make the connection. If only one is needed, is it just a matter a preference to which one you get?
