sports4 = G6 sedan
Every day I drive somewhere I think "woah, there's that concept car" and then realize it's a Pontiac G6. I'm disapointed that what will probably be the new TSX looks so much like an existing car, and an American econo-car of all things.

Ok, I can see you responding with "na, not so much", but calling me crazy makes me think you're trying to hard to deny a shocking resemblance, and that maybe you're in denial. I'm sorry if the comparison offends you, but aside from the grill and a couple faint lines I can barely tell them apart.

You need glasses or you are crazy. There are no lines or any major resembles other then both having four doors. If you replaced the grill and a couple of "faint lines" as you call them and they will still look different.
You must not drive a TSX or an Acura, if you think the quality and material will be anything like a G6.
We're not in shock or in denial. I think you're looking too hard for something that is not there.

I never said anything about quality or material, that's all you, and once again, it's telling.
If Honda thinks everyone is happy getting a nicer G6 then that's what we're going to be stuck with. It behooves you to demand better.

I don't necessarily agree with the OP (although I wouldn't say he's THAT far off base). However, I'll say (as I've always said in the past)... I think the Sports4 concept is one of the fugliest designs I've ever seen. I love my current TSX, but if that's a good representation of how the next gen model will look, it'll be the end of the road for me and Honda.
The ONLY thing that would actually sway me is the presence of a Turbo 4-cyl AND SH-AWD (at least as an option). I still think it's more unlikely than not to have both though...

I actualy don't mind how the G6 looks, I just think Honda is cheating us out of a new TSX in favor of said Pontiac, although I'm sure the Acura's superior quality will be visualy aparent also. I realy like the current TSX, it leaks clean and sporty. It's less is more. The sports4 by comparison is ostentatious and silly agressive.

Putting these two pics in the same post, I still do not see where you can justify saying that they look alike besides the fact that they have similar, FWD proportions, which is the case on ALL front wheel drive cars.

Well obviously he doesn’t appreciate Acura/Honda cause is name is Wackura. If you don't like the brand in the first place of course you are going to bash it. I had an Audi before the TSX and I thought Acura-Honda was garbage. Now that I have researched and am not ignorant, I think highly of them. That is like saying all cars look a like. It might have a similar shape but the styles are completely different. Think about it, all cars need a hood, trunk, windows and a frame. How far apart can each car look from another unless it is small details that set them apart? Look how many people disagree with you.

Yeah, he's a troll. But for the record, I like some of the styling of some Pontiacs...and I bought an Acura, so that should count for something. The G6 certainly looks better than the Grand Ams of the past. But the G6 doesn't look like the TSX or the concept photos.
When I had the Prelude, I could park it next to a Mustang, and wouldn't you know, it had pretty much the same dimensions! 2-door, wheels were in the same place, a bit of a longer hood than most cars, just even the size seemed the same. Yet the two cars looked different. Weird. Was it on purpose, or did the function dictate the location of the key parts?

They don't look alike, the Sports 4 has more of a curved dome roofline like you see in the Nissan/Infinitis, also the headlights shape looks different.
To me though the Sports 4 looks smaller in overall size than the current TSX kind of, which I don't like. I thought when a car is redesigned it is longer, taller, and wider than the model it will replace.
