sports4 = G6 sedan

No, I agree...
I see the similarities...
They both have wheels with tires
They both have glass
They are both painted
They both have 4 doors
They both have hoods and trunks
They both have door handles
I can't see the interiors but I bet they are similar too.
I have been looking at the Pontiac G6 GT and there is no comparison between the 2008 TSX and a 2008 G6. Fit/finish on the Acura cannot be compared to Pontiac.
You want to see something sad? Look at the 2008 Buick LaCrosse CX it has a shifter on the column (you can get it on the floor but they come mostly on the column). GM is still in the late 80's early 90's on their interiors.
The large silly buttons that look like cheap molded plastics to their flat uncomfortable cloth seats. Then there is the steering wheel that looks like it comes from a school bus.

The similarities I speak of are the relatively equal proportions in the sloping beltline, trunk and hood heights, the dome like roof line that terminates at a sharp point, the pronounced round curve of the doors, flared wheel wells and to a lesse extent the style of door handles.
The point is not so much that they look identical but that when people see a Sprts 4 on the street they'll think "I recognize that car - it looks like those relatively cheap American cars I've seen around town for years."
It's a non issue now anyway, since this post was made they've released the Tourer concept and it has only a slight resemblance to the Sports 4 concept which is over two years old now.
