something wrong with my lights?

I drove my TSX tonight for the first time at night on the way home from a trip up to Waterloo. My lights seem to be uneven though,...........basically,............the top of the beam goes along (from left side) to about the middle,....then it raises up a bit on the right side,........which is a pronounced difference when the lights are shining on things further away.

As an example so ppl know what I am talking about,......pretend the line below is the top of my light beam,...........and you will get what I mean from the description above.

________sssssssssssss
sssssssss

Is this normal? Is one of my beams out of line or something like that? Did I not notice something in the manual about the lights?

Thanks,
Steve

I've posted this before somewhere a long time ago, but here is why you get that stair step:

This is on the inside of the HID project is and meant to prevent blinding oncoming traffic.

Yep. It's backwards on the JDM lights, since they drive on the wrong side of the road. It's just to lower the beam for oncoming traffic.

Agreed. My TL does the same thing. The left side is always a touch lower because of oncoming traffic.

Thanks everyone,.............haha, I was worried for a minute. The thought did cross my mind that maybe it was so the light beam was not as high for oncoming cars or something like that,......I am so paranoid about the car cause I have had it less than a week.

Nice pics moda, btw.
Thanks for the replies.

Ya, unfortunately I know I will be,......for a long time. Every sound, vibration, etc,......Im like,.what the heck is that,....whats wrong,.hahaha. Kind of seems like the brake pedal vibrates (not pressing it while braking,..just resting foot on it moving or not moving),....and I thought the car was wondering a bit on the hwy yesterday,.........I might just be imagining things though. Could be those stupid OEM tires that everyone says are no good too,....seem kind of loud at higher speeds. There are a ton of counter weights on the front left wheel too,....like 7 or 8 of them (5g each i think),.........I was like wth when I noticed the other day.

and ya,......TSX is SWEET

hehe this confirms my assumption that is wasn't because "your lights aren't even" ( gf comment makes me paranoid) and that its to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.
